On top of being an elite nursing home overall, this facility excelled in our inspections category, where it earned an A+. Very few places performed as well in this area. These inspection scores take several factors into consideration, including deficiencies and federal fines. Severe deficiencies are ones labeled as categories G through L. This means the inspectors did not consider any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Clearly, this facility is doing something right in this area as it was able to keep its residents out of the hospital. Among its many impressive grades, this facility received an excellent nursing grade. In fact, we gave it a grade of A in that category. Nursing scores are heavily correlated with levels of nurse staffing. This facility provided 0.6 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also looked at some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This facility performed very well in the area of avoiding major falls and pressure ulcers. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.

Not every facility employs these skilled professionals. On the other hand, according to the data this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists.
