One of the other reasons we rated this nursing home so highly is that it received a very impressive nursing score. In fact, nursing proved to be its second best category grade. In that area, we gave this facility an A+. Our nursing grade considers several subcategories. The most important one is the amount of time nurses spend with patients. This particular facility provided 5.5 hours of nursing care per patient on a daily basis. This was one of the higher totals we found. Furthermore, a significant percentage of this care was provided by registered nurses, which are highly skilled nurses. These are both really impressive figures. On top of providing impressive levels of care, this nursing home also excelled in several of the quality measures we assessed. With less than five percent of its patients suffering from pressure ulcers, it performed as well as any facility the nation in this category.
