To go along with its favorable overall performance, we gave this place an A for the area of inspections. Inspection grades account for several factors included in a nursing home's inspection reports. One of the most important criteria we consider is the quantity and severity of deficiencies. Nursing homes with higher scores in this area generally have few of these severe deficiencies. Although this facility had some deficiencies on its report, none of them were major deficiencies based on CMS' deficiency scale. This place performed well in this area. Avoiding major falls is typically a good indicator that a place has reliable quality controls in place. Major falls can many times be prevented if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

The last datapoint we looked at in this area is the number of residents who were able to leave the facility and return home.
