Facility Inspections

With an overall grade this high, it should come as no surprise that this facility excelled in the area of inspections, where it earned an A-. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in determining these inspection scores. One of those factors is health deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more important than the quantity of deficiencies, as some deficiencies end up being relatively insignificant. This particular nursing home received 3 deficiencies on its inspection report. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Long-term Care Quality

Contributing to its high-end assessment, this nursing home also was given a superb long-term care grade, with a grade of A-. Facilities that do well in this category tend to be well-staffed and provide extensive hands on care to residents. In addition to considering the volume of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we looked at the number of residents vaccinated against pneumonia. This facility vaccinated 95.85253 percent of its residents, which is an impressive figure. Pneumonia can be a dangerous condition for nursing home residents so we like it when a nursing home doesn't leave its residents vulnerable.
