Although we did not have many favorable things to say about this facility's overall grade, it did receive a respectable nursing score of B-. Our nursing rating analyzes a handful of datapoints, however, the primary one is the level of nurse hours spent with patients. This facility provided just 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. This is a relatively low total compared to most other facilities. Finally, despite not having the most impressive total nursing hours per resident, this nursing home actually performed admirably in the metric of preventing major falls. This is generally a reliable indicator that a place has quality controls in place.

This nursing home's long-term care grade appears to be one of its respectable features. The nursing home received a grade of C in this category. In a long-term care setting, the facility's primary goal is to maintain patients' quality of life and keep them safe. In addition to looking at the volume of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we analyzed the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. Fortunately, this facility administered the vaccine to 98.05825 percent of its patients, which is a very solid figure. Finally, this nursing home was also able to limit hospitalizations. In fact, it had only 0.03 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

Sadly, this facility received a grade of just D in our inspection category. This is well below average grade. Our inspection scores weigh many items found on the nursing home's recent inspection reports. If you see severe deficiencies on the inspection reports, this is typically the worst sign. Severe deficiencies indicate a risk to resident safety. This particular facility was hit with 7 deficiencies by CMS. The only positive thing we can say is that none of its deficiencies were in the categories that suggest that they caused a risk to resident health or safety. Lastly, we also need to draw your attention to the fact that this place received large government fines recently amounting to more than $100,000. This generally signifies that a bad performance has been an issue for more than one year.
