Facility Inspections

Grade: A-plus

In addition to receiving a strong overall score, this facility received an A+ inspection grade. This is based on the facility's recent inspection reports. An A+ in this category is one of the best complements we can offer a nursing home. Our inspection ratings are based on items found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that excel in this area have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This place was hit with 7 deficiencies on its inspection report, but fortunately none of the deficiencies were considered to be severe deficiencies. This indicates that the inspectors didn't deem any of the deficiencies to create an immediate threat to patient safety or health. The fact that the deficiencies were relatively minor leaves us less concerned with this inspection report.

Nurse Quality

Grade: A-minus

This facility provided 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also assessed some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This place performed very well when it comes to minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.

Short-term Care Quality

Grade: B

In addition, this facility also was given favorable short-term care scores in our assessment. In fact, we gave them one of our more favorable scores in that category, with a score of B. Our short-term care scores are based in part on the facility's quantity of highly-skilled highly skilled professionals. This means a vast spectrum of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and respiratory therapists, as well as other types of therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this facility has registered nurses on staff. Not all nursing homes employs these types of nurses. On the other hand, according to the information this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. Lastly, we considered the number of patients who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: C

The last category we analyzed is long-term care. This nursing home was given a very good long-term care rating in our assessment, with a grade of C. While this wasn't as good as many of its other scores, this is still a decent rating for this category. In the category of long-term care, we assess the quantity of services offered by a nursing home, as opposed to more healthcare-oriented services. In addition to considering the quantity of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we analyzed the percentage of residents vaccinated against pneumonia. Candidly, we were a bit bothered by the fact that this facility provided the vaccine to only 84.331795 percent of its residents. Nevertheless, this nursing home keeps its residents out of the hospital. In fact, it had only 0 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.
