Even though we did not give this facility a good overall grade, we actually gave it a strong grade in long-term care, where it received a B. This facility vaccinated 90.44369 percent of its residents. This is somewhat less than we anticipated. While its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we hoped for, at least this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. In fact, it had only 0.02 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.

This nursing home also earned a very impressive nursing rating. In fact, this turned out to be its second best category grade. In this category, we gave this nursing home a grade of B. Nursing grades are mostly associated with a facility's level of nurse staffing. This facility provided 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This facility performed very well when it comes to avoiding pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.
