This nursing home vaccinated 99.583336 percent of its patients, which is significantly higher than the majority of nursing homes. Finally, this place was able to limit hospitalizations. This facility received its third highest category score in the category of short-term care. We awarded this nursing home a C in this category, which is a reasonably acceptable grade. In determining our short-term care ratings, we look at a facility's levels of highly skilled nursing, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists speech therapists and other types of therapists. This category is generally a fair measure of a facility's rehabilitation services. It doesn't look like this nursing home submitted registered nurse or physical therapist staffing data. The last item we considered in this area is the number of patients who ultimately were able to return home from the nursing home. We found that just 5.1 percent of this facility's residents returned home. This figure was below the national average.

Nurse Quality

Grade: C

The final area we graded is nursing. This facility was awarded a C in the area. Our nursing rating is based on a host of data points. The most heavily weighted variable is the number of hours nurses spend with patients. This place provides only 0.4 hours of nursing care per patient each day. This is a somewhat concerning figure which is well below the national average. Lastly, despite not having the most impressive total nursing hours, this nursing home actually performed admirably in the area of preventing major falls. This is typically a reliable indicator that a facility has sufficient quality controls in place.
