Facility Inspections
This place didn't receive any favorable grades. Its most concerning score may be its inspection rating, where it received an F. With facilities that received this poor of an inspection grade, we recommend scrutinizing the severe deficiencies on its inspection report. This facility had a category G through L deficiency, which rank among the more serious categories of deficiencies. This generally indicates that the deficiencies uncovered by CMS had the potential to cause actual harm to patients. In addition to having severe deficiencies, this nursing home was cited by CMS for possible abuse or neglect. This is generally a really bad sign. We would never recommend this facility.
Nurse Quality
In addition, we gave this facility an F in the area of nursing care. The nursing score is based on several datapoints. The most heavily weighted factor is the amount of time nurses spent with patients. This place offered just 0.2 hours of nursing care per patient daily. This is not a very impressive figure. Finally, we also assessed some nursing quality measures in determining our nursing ratings. This nursing home performed well in terms of minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these datapoints to be reliable indicators of the quality of nursing care.

Long-term Care Quality
Our next category we analyzed was long-term care, where this facility received an F. Facilities that don't fare well in this category typically aren't as well-staffed and are lagging in a few of the areas of routine healthcare services we looked at. In addition to considering the quantity of care provided by aids and other staff, we looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. As it turns out, this facility vaccinated just 37.550472 percent of its patients, which is somewhat concerning. To our surprise, this facility was actually able to limit hospitalizations. With only 0 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, this facility has less hospitalizations than the average nursing home. This was its best score in this category.
Short-term Care Quality
Switching gears to the fourth category, this nursing home really did not perform very well here either. With a rock bottom grade of F in short-term care, this is really as terrible as it gets. With our short-term care rating, we try to craft a fair measure for rehabilitation services. In this process, we look at the nursing home's level of skilled nursing services, including both registered nurses and physical therapy, as well as speech therapy. As you might expect, we discovered that this place offers far less registered nurse and physical therapist hours per patient than a typical facility. The last metric we looked at in this area is the percentage of residents that were able to return home from the facility. This facility struggled quite a bit in this metric as well, with just 2.6 percent of its patients returning home.
