While we gave this nursing home an abysmal overall score, we gave it a B- for our nursing rating. Nursing grades are heavily correlated with quantity of nursing care available. This nursing home provides 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. This is a much lower figure than we are used to seeing. Despite having low quantities of nursing care, this place surprisingly fared better in some of the quality measures we assessed. In fact, it scored well in the area of minimizing its residents' major falls and pressure ulcers.

Turning to the area of long-term care, this nursing home received just a D in this category. Unfortunately, this ended up being one of its better grades. Long-term care ratings in this range generally are a bad sign for the quantity and quality of care provided by nurses and aids, as well as the levels of routine medical care available.
