This nursing home didn't receive any favorable grades. Its most alarming grade may be its inspection score, where it received an F. When a facility has this poor of an inspection rating, you should expect some severe deficiencies on its inspection report. Severe deficiencies indicate a threat to resident safety. This particular nursing home had 4 deficiencies by CMS. The only favorable thing we can say is that none of the deficiencies were in the categories that indicate that they created a risk to patient health or safety. Finally, CMS flagged this nursing home for possible abuse or neglect. This is not what you want to see. We advise you to direct your search elsewhere.

Long-term Care Quality

We also wanted to draw your attention to this facility's bottom of the barrel long-term care score where it was given a lowly F. When facilities receive this type of grade in this category it is a bad sign for patient care and it may mean that the nursing home is not as well-staffed. After considering the volume of care provided by nurses and other staff, we next considered the facility's vaccination statistics. Frankly, we were a bit concerned this nursing home vaccinated 75.5814 percent of its residents against pneumonia, which is several points less than what we expected. Surprisingly, this nursing home was actually able to limit hospitalizations. With only 0.03 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, this facility had less hospitalizations than the average nursing home. This was its best score in this category.

Nurse Quality

Grade: F

In addition, we gave this facility an F in the area of nursing care. We scrutinized the licensure of nurses employed by the facility, in addition to the number of hours those nurses spent with residents, in computing our rating in this area. This facility averaged just 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident on a daily basis. This is well below average. Lastly, we also assessed some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This place fared well when it comes to minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls.

Short-term Care Quality

Moving on to our next area, this nursing home really did not perform very well here either. Due to a poor grade of F in short-term care, this is really as terrible as it gets. In the category of short-term care, we try to assess measures of a facility's rehabilitation. We analyze a facility's skilled nursing services, including those performed by registered nurses and physical, occupational and other therapists.
