While we graded this facility incredibly poorly overall, it received a fairly respectable nursing grade this year. We gave it a grade of C in that category. When computing our nursing grades, we look at both nursing hours and the skill levels of the nurses. This facility provided just 0.3 hours of nursing care per patient each day. We were a bit concerned this nursing home vaccinated only 84.42623 percent of its patients for pneumonia. To our surprise, this facility was actually able to limit hospitalizations. With places that received this bad of an inspection rating, we recommend scrutinizing the severe deficiencies on its inspection report. This nursing home was hit with 2 deficiencies on its inspection report. The only favorable thing we found is that none of its deficiencies were in the categories that suggest that they caused a threat to resident safety or health. Finally, we need to point out that this facility was assessed large government fines in recent years amounting to over $100,000. This often indicates that a poor track record spanned several years.
