This nursing home provides 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, our nursing grades also factor in quality-based assessments, such as avoiding major falls. In computing our short-term care scores, we analyze a nursing home's levels of skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists respiratory therapists and other highly trained professionals. This rating is often a reliable measure of a nursing home's rehabilitation services. We found that 5.2 percent of this facility's patients were able to return home.

Facility Inspections

Grade: B-minus

Turning to our inspection category, it appears this nursing home has earned respectable inspections in recent years as well. We gave it a grade of B- in this category. Our inspection scores are tied to several items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Deficiencies are an important item to look for on these reports. Severe deficiencies indicate a risk to the well being of residents. This facility was assessed 5 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none of the deficiencies were considered to be major deficiencies. This tells you that the government inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies to cause an immediate risk to resident health or safety. We should point out that deficiency-free inspections are uncommon in the industry.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: C

Turning to our next area, this nursing home was awarded a decent long-term care score of C. Long-term care grades are generally used to assess a facility's performance as a traditional convalescent home, as opposed to focusing more on the skilled nursing services offered by a rehabilitation facility. In addition to considering the quantity of care provided by nurses and other staff, we looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This facility administered the vaccine to 87.97251 percent of its patients. This is several points less than what we were hoping for. Nevertheless, this nursing home was able to keep its residents out of the hospital. Indeed, it had only 0.01 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.
