Long-term Care Quality

Grade: A-plus

To pair with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A+ for its nursing grade. After we finished looking at the volume of nursing care, we turned to the facility's vaccination records. This nursing home vaccinated 100 percent of its patients for pneumonia, which is very impressive. Pneumonia tragically can be a deadly health condition for nursing home patients so we strongly prefer when a nursing home doesn't leave its residents vulnerable. Facility Inspections

Grade: A-minus

This facility also earned excellent inspections in recent years. We gave it one of our best grades in that category, with an impressive grade of A-. Our inspection scores account for a host of factors included in a nursing home's inspection report. One of the most important criteria we look at is the number and severity of deficiencies. Facilities with better grades in this area usually have few severe deficiencies. Amazingly, this was one of the few nursing homes in the country that had no deficiencies whatsoever on its inspection report. This is very impressive. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Grade: B-plus

In our final category, this nursing home also received an impressive short-term care grade, with a grade of B+. This wrapped up a very strong profile. In our short-term care assessment, we endeavor to forge a valuable measure for rehabilitation services. In this process, we assess the facility's offerings of highly-skilled nursing services, including both registered nurses and physical therapy, as well as occupational therapy. We weren't able to track down registered nurse or physical therapy staffing data for this facility. The last statistic we considered in this area is the number of residents who were able to leave the nursing home and return to the community.
