As a result, it received one of our highest grades in this category with an A+. These inspection ratings take several factors into consideration, including deficiencies and federal fines. You can find more information about each of these factors by reviewing copies of nursing homes' inspection reports. Long-term Care Quality
Another one of this nursing home's more favorable category grades was in the category of long-term care. In that area, we awarded this facility a grade of B+. Long-term care grades of this caliber generally require both 24/7 care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine healthcare services. On top of assessing the quantity of care provided by aids and other staff, we looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This facility gave the vaccine to 83.98058 percent of its patients. This is a bit lower than we were hoping for but still a decent figure. Clearly, this nursing home is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. The nursing grade analyzes many factors, however, the most important one is the number of nurse hours spent with patients. This nursing home averages just 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. This is a very low figure. Despite having low quantities of nursing care, this place excelled in some of the quality-based metrics we looked at. In fact, it performed well when it comes to avoiding major falls and pressure ulcers. We consider these areas to be measures of the quality of nursing care.
