While this nursing home's overall grade was terrible, it actually didn't perform as badly in nursing. In fact, we gave it a grade of B- for that category. This facility received a lowly F for its inspection rating. For facilities with bad inspection ratings, you should really focus on any severe deficiencies found on their inspection reports. This nursing home was hit with 11 deficiencies on its inspection report. The only favorable thing we can say is that none of these deficiencies were in the categories that suggest that they created a threat to patient health or safety. Lastly, this nursing home was cited by CMS for possible abuse or neglect. This is generally a really bad sign. We would never recommend this facility.

Candidly, we were a bit worried that this facility vaccinated 76.411964 percent of its patients for pneumonia, which is quite a bit lower than the national average. To our surprise, this facility was actually able to limit hospitalizations. With only 0.01 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, this nursing home has fewer hospitalizations than many nursing homes. This is its best feature in this category.
