Facility Inspections

On top of faring well overall, this facility earned an excellent inspection report. Consequently, we gave it one of our highest scores in this area with a grade of A. Inspection grades are based on items found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this area tend to have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. Fortunately, although this facility had some minor dings on its inspection report, it had no severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are ones found in categories G, H, I, J, K and L. This tells you that the inspectors did not deem any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Our short-term care grades are thought to be most critical for patients in need of a nursing home for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation usually utilizes higher levels of skilled nursing. This means not just nursing, but also physical and respiratory therapy, as well as other variations of therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home employs registered nurses. Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. However, based on the information they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists.
