On top of being a strong nursing home overall, it also earned A+ government inspections in recent years. Its inspections are nearly flawless. Inspection ratings weigh several factors, including deficiencies, substantiated complaints and federal fines. This nursing home elevated its score in this category by providing more care from registered nurses than the typical facility. Lastly, we looked at the number of residents who were able to return to the community from this facility. This place performed decently in this area, with 46.7 percent of its residents returning home.

Turning our next area, we gave this nursing home a score of A for our long-term care rating. This is a dominant grade. Nursing homes that excel in this category typically provide residents with more supervision and stay on top of routine medical care. One of the datapoints we considered after nurse's aid hours was vaccines. This nursing home administered the pneumonia vaccination to 95.90164 percent of its patients. Vaccination is a great way to minimize unnecessary deaths for the elderly population. Clearly, this facility is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. It had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.
