It should be noted that this facility's inspection grade outpaced its overall grade. We gave it a B+ for its inspections rating, which is one of our better scores. Arguably the most important factor we look at in computing our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. In fact, it performed well when it comes to avoiding major falls and pressure ulcers. We consider these areas to be measures of the quality of nursing care. In some cases, the quality of nursing care is every bit as important as the number of hours of care offered.

With our short-term care score, we strive to forge a meaningful gauge for rehabilitation. In this process, we look at the nursing home's offerings of highly-skilled nursing services, including both registered nurses and physical therapy, as well as speech therapy.
