Adding to its profile, this facility also earned a grade of B for its nursing rating. This is a well above average score in this category. There are quite a few factors included in this area. Many of these factors reflect the quantity of nurse staffing. This nursing home provides 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also assessed several nursing quality-based metrics and this nursing home excelled in some of these areas. With less than five percent of its residents sustaining pressure ulcers, it performed as well as any facility New Jersey in this category. This is generally a good indicator of quality nursing care. Pressure ulcers can frequently be prevented by providing better nursing care, such as by employing a system of turning a resident even once per day.

The next category we analyzed was this nursing home's worst area. However, even in its worst category we still awarded it a decent grade of C in long-term care. If you are looking for services other than short-term rehabilitation, you should take a close look at each nursing home's long-term care grades. One of the factors we considered in addition to nurse's aid hours was vaccines. Thankfully, this nursing home administered the pneumonia vaccine to 94.21965 percent of its patients. This place was able to keep its patients out of the hospital. In fact, it had only 0.01 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.
