This nursing home received 2 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none of the deficiencies were considered to be severe. Facilities that excel in long-term care tend to provide residents with more supervision and stay on top of routine medical care. After looking at the quantity of care provided by aids and other staff, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination statistics. This facility vaccinated 100 percent of its patients against pneumonia. Vaccines are vital to keeping patients healthy. This nursing home was also able to keep its patients out of the hospital. It had just 1.32 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days.
