To go along with its favorable overall grade, we awarded this place an A+ for our inspection category. Our inspection ratings are based on many datapoints found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that score well in this category have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This particular nursing home had just a single deficiency on its inspection report and it was not one deemed to pose a threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.
Long-term Care Quality
This nursing home also was given an A+ long-term care grade, rendering it one of the few facilities to be awarded several A+ category grades. When facilities receive this kind of score in long-term care it is usually a good sign for patient care and suggests that the facility is well-staffed with nurses and aids.
