In addition to being a first rate nursing home overall, this nursing home also excelled in the area of nursing, where it received an A. Few nursing homes fared better in this area. Finally, we also assessed several nursing quality measures and this facility excelled in some of these areas. Perhaps the most critical factor we look at in computing our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's inspection reports. Nursing homes with better scores in this category most likely avoided the most severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. While this nursing home had some minor dings on its report, it had zero severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are ones labeled as categories G through L.
