Grade: A

On top of receiving a great overall grade, this place also received first-rate inspections in recent years. We awarded it one of our better grades in this area, with an A. Our inspection scores are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that receive favorable grades in this area tend to have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This nursing home was hit with 4 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none were considered to be severe deficiencies. This tells you that the inspectors didn't deem any of these deficiencies to cause an immediate risk to resident safety or health. The fact that none of the deficiencies were severe leaves us less concerned with this inspection report.

On the other hand, based on the data this nursing home provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. Finally, we assessed the number of patients who ultimately returned home from this nursing home. We found that 0 percent of this facility's patients returned home.

This really is one of just a couple of dings of a quality report card. For prospective residents looking for a permanent residence as opposed to rehabilitation, long-term care grades are an important measure. After considering the quantity of care provided by nurses, we next considered the nursing home's vaccination statistics. We were pleased to discover that this facility vaccinates 95.77465 percent of its residents for pneumonia. Surprisingly, this place also keeps its patients out of the hospital. It had just 0.02 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days. Sadly, a few of its other scores in this category were not as favorable as these.
