We analyze a facility's skilled nursing services, including those performed by registered nurses and physical therapists. Fortunately, it looks like this facility has registered nurses on staff. Not all facilities employs these types of nurses. However, according to the information they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. This place performed well in this area. Avoiding major falls is typically a good indicator that a nursing home has reliable quality controls in place. Major falls can typically be avoided if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

The only positive thing we can say is that none of these deficiencies were in the categories that suggest they posed a risk to resident safety or health. Lastly, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that this nursing home was assessed significant government fines in recent years amounting to more than $100,000. This generally means that a facility's bad performance has been an issue for multiple years.

Moving on to our last area, we gave this nursing home a D in long-term care. This is the facility's worst category grade. Unfortunately, this score hurt the facility's overall profile to some degree.
