Facility Inspections

Grade: A-minus

This facility earned a solid overall grade as described above, but we really wanted to emphasize its excellent health inspections in recent years. We gave them an A- in this category. Arguably the most important factor we consider in computing our inspection ratings is deficiencies. Deficiencies can be found on a facility's recent inspection reports. Places with higher grades in this category typically avoided the more severe deficiencies involving health risks or even death. Although this nursing home had a few deficiencies on its report, none were major deficiencies based on CMS' deficiency scale. Keep in mind that deficiency-free inspections are uncommon in the industry.
