After assessing the quantity of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination data. This nursing home vaccinated 75.4386 percent of its residents for pneumonia, which happens to be somewhat lower than we were hoping for but still a decent figure. Although its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we had hoped, we were pleased to find nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. It had only 0.01 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.

Short-term Care Quality

Grade: B

The final area we looked at was short-term care, where this nursing home was awarded a B. This nursing home ended up being relatively strong across the board. In calculating our short-term care grades, we scrutinize a nursing home's levels of skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists respiratory therapists and other types of therapists. This rating is considered to be a solid assessment of a facility's rehabilitation. Unfortunately, we were not able to find information about this nursing home's registered nurse or physical therapy staffing. Finally, we assessed the percentage of residents who were able to return to the community from this facility. We found that 0 percent of this facility's residents returned home.
