Facility Inspections
To pair with its decent overall score, we gave this nursing home an A+ for its inspection grade. This grade is far more impressive than its overall score. Inspection ratings are based on many items found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that receive favorable grades in this category have very few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these facilities should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. Amazingly, this was one of the few nursing homes in the country that had no deficiencies whatsoever on its inspection report. This is very impressive. You can not go wrong with a deficiency-free inspection report.
Short-term Care Quality
The next best category we awarded this facility in any category came in the area of short-term care, where we awarded it a grade of B-. Short-term care grades are meaningful for people seeking rehabilitation. Rehabilitation generally mandates additional skilled nursing. This means a broad range of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and occupational therapists, as well as other types of therapy. Unfortunately, we were not able to track down information on registered nurse or physical therapy staffing for this nursing home. Finally, we considered the number of residents who ultimately were able to return home from this nursing home. We found that 6 percent of this facility's residents were able to return home. This figure was actually well below average.

Nurse Quality
This facility's next best category was its nursing grade, where it received a grade of C. Our nursing grade includes a handful of subcategories, but the main consideration is the quantity of nurse hours spent with patients. This facility averages just 0.3 hours of nursing care per patient on a daily basis, which is a very low figure. Despite having low quantities of nursing care, this place excelled in some of the quality-based metrics we looked at. It scored well in the area of avoiding major falls and pressure ulcers.
Long-term Care Quality
Turning to our last category, we awarded this facility a D in long-term care. This is the nursing home's worst category score. Naturally, this score pulled down the nursing home's overall profile a bit. If you are looking for services other than rehabilitation, you should take a close look at each facility's long-term care grades. One of the statistics we considered after nursing hours is vaccinations. Thankfully, this nursing home provided the pneumonia vaccination to 98.41897 percent of its residents. To our surprise, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. With only 0.01 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, this nursing home has less hospitalizations than most nursing homes. Unfortunately, some of its other scores in the category were not as favorable as these.
