Pneumonia is too frequently a life or death ailment for nursing home residents so we prefer when a nursing home doesn't take any chances. Finally, this place was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

This facility is also strong in the area of nursing, where it received a grade of B. It outperformed most nursing homes in this category. The nursing rating weighs several components, however, the main consideration is the quantity of nurse hours per patient per week.
