Facility Inspections
On top of being a strong nursing home overall, it also earned A+ government inspections in recent years. Its inspections are nearly perfect. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in computing these inspection grades. One key factor is health deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more important than the number of deficiencies, as some of these can be quite minor. While this place had some minor dings on its inspection report, it had zero severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are labeled as categories G, H, I, J, K and L. This tells you that the inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Vaccines are a great way to avoid unnecessary deaths and hospitalizations for the elderly. The last statistic we looked at was the nursing home's hospitalization rate. Nurse Quality
Adding to its strong resume, this facility also received an excellent nursing score, with a grade of A. This facility provided 6.3 hours of nursing care per resident daily, which is among the more impressive totals in the country. A significant portion of those hours were provided by registered nurses, which are one of the more skilled levels of nurses. We are really impressed by both of these statistics. On top of offering high levels of nursing care, this nursing home also fared well in several of the quality measures we assessed. In terms of the percentage of its patients suffering from pressure ulcers, this nursing home outpaced the national average.
Short-term Care Quality
In our final category, we awarded this nursing home an A+ for our short-term care rating. This completed a very favorable profile. In computing our short-term care grades, we analyze a nursing home's levels of highly skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists occupational therapists and other licensed professionals. This grade is frequently a meaningful assessment of a facility's rehabilitation. This nursing home elevated its score in this category by providing more care from registered nurses to its residents than the average facility.
