One of the reasons this turned out to be a quality nursing home is that it earned an A+ in our inspections category. This is simply as good as it gets in this critical category. Inspection scores are based on many items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that receive favorable grades in this category have very few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This nursing home was hit with 3 deficiencies on its inspection report, but none of the deficiencies were considered severe. This indicates that CMS didn't deem any of these deficiencies to cause an immediate threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Lastly, this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. It had only 0 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

Adding to its strong resume, this facility also received an excellent nursing score, with a grade of A. Our nursing rating looks at the facility's nurse staffing levels. We consider both the levels of licensure of the nurses as well as the number of hours spent with patients. This facility provided 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at some nursing quality measures in determining our nursing grades. This facility performed very well when it comes to minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.
