One of the reasons this place turned out to be a quality nursing home is it received an A+ in our inspections category. This is simply as good as it gets in this category. Lastly, we also looked at some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This facility performed very well in terms of avoiding pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.

Turning our next area, this facility received first-rate long-term care grade. In fact, we gave it a score of A- in that area. Long-term care ratings in this range generally require both around the clock care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine healthcare services. In addition to considering the quantity of care provided by nurses and other staff, we analyzed the percentage of residents vaccinated against pneumonia.
