Short-term Care Quality
Adding to its dominant performance in other areas, we gave this facility a grade of A- for our short-term care rating. With our short-term care grade, we strive to create a meaningful gauge for rehabilitation. In this process, we assess the nursing home's level of skilled nursing services, including both registered nurses and physical therapy, as well as speech therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this facility employs registered nurses. Not all nursing homes employs these types of nurses. However, based on the data this nursing home provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. Lastly, we assessed the number of residents who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 5.4 percent of this facility's residents returned home.
