Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. However, according to the information this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The last statistic we assessed in this area is the number of patients who were able to leave the facility and return to the community. This facility received a very good nursing grade this year as well. It received one of our better scores in that category with a grade of B. Our nursing score is primarily based on the nursing home's level of nurse staffing. This facility provided 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also assessed several nursing quality-based metrics and this place excelled in some of these areas. With less than five percent of its residents sustaining pressure ulcers, it performed as well as any nursing home the country in this category. This is generally a good indicator of quality nursing care. Pressure ulcers can typically be prevented by offering better nursing care, such as by having a protocol of moving a patient even once per day.

The next area we scored is long-term care, in which this nursing home was awarded a B-. This actually is this facility's worst area. This is nevertheless a middle of the pack score. In a long-term care setting, the nursing home's primary goal is to keep patients as healthy and safe as possible.
