On top of performing well in its overall grade, this facility received high marks in the category of short-term care as well. It received our highest grade in that category with an A+. Our short-term care ratings are based in part on the facility's quantity of skilled highly skilled professionals. This includes a wide scope of nursing services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, not to mention other types of therapy. Fortunately, it appear that this nursing home has registered nurses on staff. Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. However, based on the information this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The last item we considered in this category is the percentage of residents that eventually returned home from the facility. We found that 6.8 percent of this nursing home's residents returned home as opposed to remaining at the nursing home on a permanent basis.
