In addition to being a quality nursing home overall, this facility really excelled in the area of short-term care, where it received an A. In crafting these short-term care grades, we look at the facility's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses, speech therapists, physical therapists and other types of therapists. Our purpose is to create a scale for sizing up the rehabilitation services of various nursing homes. Fortunately, it appear that this nursing home has registered nurses on staff. Not all nursing homes employs these skilled professionals. On the other hand, according to the data they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The final item we assessed in this area is the percentage of residents who ultimately were able to return home from the nursing home.
