Once we finished looking at the quantity of care provided by nurses, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination records. We were pleased to learn that this nursing home vaccinated 100 percent of its residents against pneumonia. This place keeps its residents out of the hospital. In fact, it had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.
