To pair with its strong overall grade, we gave this nursing home an A+ for its short-term care score. Short-term care grades are crucial for individuals looking for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation generally utilizes more highly-skilled nursing. This includes a broad range of nursing services, ranging from registered nurses to physical and respiratory therapists, as well as other variations of therapy. This facility excelled in two key staffing areas we assessed. It supplied about 50% more care from registered nurses and physical therapists than the average nursing home. Lastly, we looked at the number of patients that returned home from this facility. In addition to excelling in the area of physical therapy hours, we found that it fared as well as just about any facility in the nation in this area with 56.2 percent of its patients returning home.

On top of offering high levels of care, this place also performed well in several of the quality-based metrics we looked at.
