To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A- for our inspections rating. Inspection scores are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this category typically have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. Although this place had some deficiencies on its government inspection report, none were major deficiencies based on CMS' deficiency scale. We should note that deficiency-free inspections are uncommon in the industry.

This facility is also strong in the category of short-term care, where it received a score of B. It outperformed most facilities in this category. Our short-term care grades are crucial for individuals in need of rehabilitation. Rehabilitation usually utilizes additional highly-skilled nursing services. This includes a wide range of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, as well as other types of therapy. Fortunately, it appear that this facility employs registered nurses. Not all nursing homes employs these skilled professionals. However, based on the data they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. This is generally a good indicator of quality nursing care. Pressure ulcers can often be prevented by providing better nursing care, such as employing a system of moving a patient more often.

Moving on to our final category, this nursing home was given a grade of C in long-term care, which is an acceptable grade. In a long-term care setting, the primary objective is to keep patients healthy and safe. This is different than skilled nursing or short-term care where the goal is to rehabilitate patients. Once we finished looking at the quantity of nursing care, we then analyzed the facility's vaccination statistics. We were pleased to discover that this nursing home vaccinated 98.74608 percent of its residents for pneumonia. Lastly, this place was also able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.
