To go along with its strong overall score, we gave this place an A+ for inspections. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in determining our inspection scores. One critical factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more important than the quantity of deficiencies, as some of these end up being relatively insignificant. Our nursing grade consists of a handful of components, most of which are based on quantities of nurse staffing. This nursing home averages 0.6 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also assessed some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This nursing home performed very well in terms of minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.

The final area we analyzed was short-term care, where this nursing home received a B. While this ended up being its least impressive category rating, this is still a quality grade. In calculating our short-term care scores, we look at the facility's levels of skilled nursing, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists respiratory therapists and other licensed professionals.
