Short-term care scores are based on the facility's quantity of skilled skilled healthcare professionals. This means a wide scope of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and occupational therapists, in addition to other types of therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home has registered nurses on staff. Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. However, based on the data they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. The last measure we considered in this category is the percentage of residents that ultimately were able to return home from the nursing home. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's residents returned home as opposed to remaining at the facility on a permanent basis.

The final area we graded was long-term care, where this facility was given a grade of B+. This completed a very strong profile. On top of looking at the quantity of care provided by nurses and other staff, we also looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This facility vaccinated 98.49246 percent of its residents, which is an impressive figure. Pneumonia sadly can be a life threatening health condition for nursing home patients so we like it when a nursing home doesn't leave this to chance. Clearly, this facility is doing something right in this area as it was able to keep its patients out of the hospital. It had less than one hospitalization per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.
