One of the many reasons this place turned out to be a great nursing home is it received an A+ in our inspections category. This is simply as good as it gets in this critical area. Inspection grades weigh several factors, including deficiencies and substantiated complaints. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Long-term Care Quality

Contributing to its dominant resume, this nursing home also excelled in our long-term care area. In fact, we gave it a score of A- for the category. For prospective residents in need of a permanent place to live as opposed to skilled nursing, long-term care grades are a key measure. On top of considering the amount of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we analyzed the number of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This facility administered the vaccine to 85.496185 percent of its patients, which is a bit lower than we expected. Although its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we hoped for, at least this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations.
