We also would like to point out that this facility earned an A for our nursing rating. There are a number of factors included in this area. Many of the subcategories are tied to levels of nurse staffing. This facility boasts a really impressive 4.3 hours of nursing care per resident each day, of which a significant percentage was provided by registered nurses. This is one of the more highly skilled levels of nurses. This is among the highest totals of nursing hours we found. In addition to offering impressive levels of nursing care, this facility was also above average in several of the major quality-based metrics we looked at in this category. For example, it performed well when it comes to avoiding major falls and pressure ulcers. These statistics are generally good indicators of the quality of nursing care a nursing home provides.

For residents looking for a permanent residence as opposed to rehabilitation, long-term care is a very important category. In addition to assessing the above average volume of care provided by nurses and other staff at this nursing home, we also were pleased by the nursing home's vaccination statistics.
