One of the reasons this turned out to be a great nursing home is that it earned an A+ in short-term care. This is simply as good as it gets in this category. We assess the facility's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses and physical therapists. One reason for this facility's strong score in this category is that it provides more care with registered nurses to its residents than the average nursing home. This is one of the few nursing homes to receive multiple A+ category grades. Inspection ratings are tied to many items found on the a nursing home's inspection reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This nursing home was assessed 4 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none were considered severe.
