We factor in both the levels of skill of those nurses and the quantity of hours spent with patients. This facility averaged just 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also looked at some nursing quality-based metrics in determining our nursing ratings. This facility performed well in terms of minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. Many consider these metrics to be good measures of the quality of nursing care.
