To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A for our inspections rating. Our inspection scores are based on many items found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that excel in this area typically have very few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. Fortunately, although this nursing home had some minor dings on its inspection report, it had zero severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are those found in categories G through L. This means the government inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient safety or health. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Nurse Quality
This facility received a very good nursing grade this year as well. It received one of our better scores in that category with a grade of B+. Nursing grades are primarily associated with the facility's nurse staffing. This nursing home provides 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at some nursing quality measures in determining our nursing grades. This nursing home performed very well in the area of minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.
Short-term Care Quality
Turning to our last area, this facility was given an acceptable short-term care score. Although this wasn't as elite as a few of its other category grades, this is still not a bad grade. Our short-term care ratings are critical for residents needing rehabilitation. Rehabilitation usually mandates additional highly-skilled nursing. Skilled nursing includes a wide scope of nursing services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, as well as other forms of therapy. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this nursing home provided registered nurse or physical therapist staffing data. Lastly, we looked at the number of patients who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 4.5 percent of this facility's patients returned home. At most facilities, closer to half of their patients are able to return home so this figure is below average.
