Facility Inspections

Grade: A

With an overall grade this high, it should come as no surprise that this nursing home excelled in the area of inspections, where it received a grade of A. Our inspection grades are based on items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that excel in this category tend to have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. Our objective is to formulate a measure for comparing the rehabilitation services of nursing homes. Fortunately, it looks like this facility has registered nurses on staff. Not every nursing home employs these types of nurses. However, according to the data they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. The final metric we looked at in this category is the percentage of patients who were able to leave the facility and return to the community. We discovered that 0 percent of this facility's patients were able to return home.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: B

The next area we graded was long-term care. In that category, we gave this facility a strong grade of B. Long-term care scores in this range generally require both around the clock care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine healthcare services. One of the factors we considered on top of nursing hours is vaccinations. This facility administered the pneumonia vaccine to 99.66443 percent of its residents. This is a proven method to avoid negative health outcomes for the aged 65 and up population. Lastly, this place was able to limit hospitalizations.
