On top of being a great nursing home overall, it also received A+ health inspections in recent years. Its inspections were nearly flawless. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in computing our inspection grades. One of those factors is deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more important than the quantity of deficiencies, as some are quite insignificant. This tells you that the government inspectors didn't deem any of the deficiencies to create an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Long-term care grades in this range generally require both 24/7 care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine healthcare services. On top of assessing the volume of care provided by aids and other staff, we looked at the number of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This nursing home gave the vaccine to 96.44971 percent of its patients, which is better than most nursing homes. Finally, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. It had only 0.01 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.

To complement its strong performance in other areas, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A+ for our inspections rating. There are several subcategories within this area.
