Facility Inspections
To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A for our inspections rating. Our inspection ratings weigh a host of factors found on a nursing home's inspection reports. One key criteria we consider is the number and severity of deficiencies. Nursing homes with better grades in this area usually have few severe deficiencies. Fortunately, although this place had a few minor dings on its inspection report, it had no severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are ones labeled as categories G, H, I, J, K and L. This tells you that the government inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient safety or health. We should note that deficiency-free inspections are uncommon in the industry.
Nurse Quality
One of the other reasons we rated this facility so highly is that it earned a very impressive nursing score. In fact, nursing turned out to be its second best category grade. In that area, we gave this nursing home an A-. The nursing score includes several datapoints, however, the most important consideration is the number of nurse hours spent with patients. This nursing home provides 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at some nursing quality measures in determining our nursing grades. This place performed very well when it comes to avoiding pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.

Short-term Care Quality
The third area we analyzed is short-term care. This facility received an above average short-term care grade, with a B+ in this area. In determining these short-term care scores, we quantify the nursing home's skilled nursing services, including those performed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and other types of therapists. Our purpose is to devise a tool for comparing the rehabilitation services of nursing homes. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that this nursing home submitted information about its staffing of registered nurses or physical therapists. The last metric we considered in this category is the percentage of patients that who were able to eventually return home from the nursing home. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home as opposed to remaining at the facility on a permanent basis.
Long-term Care Quality
Moving on to our final category, this facility really did not fare well. With a poor grade of F in this category, this is notably its weakest grade. In a long-term care environment, the primary objective is to maintain patients' quality of life and keep them safe. After looking at the quantity of care provided by aids and other staff, we then looked at the facility's vaccination records. We were pleased to learn that this facility vaccinated 99.07407 percent of its residents for pneumonia. To our surprise, this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. With just 0 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, this facility had fewer hospitalizations than most nursing homes. Unfortunately, some of its other scores in the category weren't as favorable as these.
