In addition to being a first rate nursing home overall, this facility also excelled in our inspections category, where it received an A+. Few nursing homes performed as well in this area. Inspection scores are based on many items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this category tend to have very few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. Fortunately, although this nursing home had some minor dings on its government inspection report, it had no severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are those found in categories G, H, I, J, K and L. This tells you the government inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

It performed as well as any nursing home in the nation when it comes to minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls.
